It seems a bit overwhelming to read this list of accomplishments, but since the spark was lit by my grandmothers my life focus has been food and hospitality. I gained a B.S. degree is in Hotel Restaurant Management & Tourism is from the University of Denver, Denver, Colorado to further my education experiences.

Over the years I have had the privilege to learn from a diversity of experiences: Assistant General Manager/Corporate chef at William-Sonoma Inc., in Costa Mesa, California. Assistant General Manager at Florentine’s Italian Foods, San Jose, California. Assistant Director of Food Services at the Colorado School of Mines for Aramark, Inc. Campus Dining Division Golden, Colorado. Director of Food Services at Marriott International, Management Division.

I have also had the pleasure of being the proprietor of Pure Joy Bakery at Bloomingcamp Farm in Oakdale, California that became Pure Joy Bakery and The Lunch Pail in Modesto California for 13 years until the economy took its major downturn in 2011.

With the closure of The Lunch Pail in 2011 due to the downturn in the economy, I have been the Executive Chef at Manteca Unified Schol District and the Chef/Instructor at Manteca's Be.Tech Culinary Academy.

Currently, I am the owner/proprietor of The Stop Cafe in Modesto, CA which serves handmade pastries, sandwiches, soups, salads, and specialty drinks weekly.

Be in the know . . .
